Market-leading mobile application development company
Problem to solve
In the project, commissioned by Mito Digital Ltd., we conducted testing for a newly developed mobile application intended for an international online gaming client. The application was targeting the Ecuadorian gambling market. Our primary task during the project was software quality assurance, with a focus on meeting tight delivery and testing milestones while ensuring consistently high-quality, error-free deliveries.
What approach did we apply?
Throughout the project, we adopted an approach that aligned with sprint-based deliveries. We initially conducted manual testing of the features delivered by the current sprint, while concurrently automating the growing test suite with new functionalities. This approach saved a considerable amount of time, ensuring that the continuously expanding and evolving application could always reach the client within a fixed timeframe.

What was the objective to achieve?
Our goal was to deliver different versions of the developed mobile application to the client for user testing without encountering critical or major issues. It was crucial for us to maintain system stability and project momentum, even as the application continuously expanded with new functionalities.
What actions did we take?
Throughout the project, we aligned our Quality Assurance activities with the sprint cycles, following a well-planned schedule. This ensured that test cases for the current sprint were always ready, allowing for manual testing to take place. In parallel with manual testing, we conducted continuous test automation activities. This meant that in each sprint, we automated the content delivered in the previous sprint.
This organized and precise approach ensured that comprehensive regression testing could be performed for existing application functionalities in each sprint. Thanks to the keyword-driven test cases used for test automation, the same test suite was developed as those used for manual testing. To support the entire release process efficiently, we established a CI/CD pipeline, which streamlined the entire release process, including the execution of automated tests.

What was the outcome of the collaboration?
Thanks to the coordinated execution of development and quality assurance, the mobile application was delivered to the client as per their expected timeline.
We ensured that not only the final product met the requirements but also that the planned functionalities for each sprint were delivered as per the initial schedule.
As a result, during the user acceptance testing, the client was able to focus solely on testing real business processes, without encountering any functional and/or performance deficiencies.
The successful collaboration resulted in positive feedback and satisfaction from the client, along with the opportunity to collaborate on future projects, including the development of mobile applications for introduction into other markets.
