01 Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Data Ops Engineer who is confident working with Azure Cloud and Azure Databricks and has experience developing and operating data pipelines in production environments.

We value strong problem-solving skills, incident management and troubleshooting experience, as well as the ability to ensure stable and reliable data platforms.

Collaboration and knowledge sharing are important to us, as you will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists and BI Developers.

02 Your responsibilities

  • Development and operation of Azure-based data platforms and DataOps infrastructure
  • Development, support and optimization of Azure Databricks data pipelines
  • Production support, incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Monitoring, logging, alerting and performance optimization
  • Management of CI/CD processes
  • Ensuring the secure, stable and highly available operation of data platforms
  • Collaboration with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, BI Developers and Architects

03 What we expect from you

  •  3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering / DataOps / Cloud Data
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud and Azure Databricks
  • Strong SQL skills
  • Experience developing and operating data pipelines in production environments
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD processes
  • Experience with production support, incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting and performance tuning

04 Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code and Databricks Unity Catalog
  • Experience from modern, AI-driven projects
  • Coordination experience between business and development teams
  • AI/ML development experience on other cloud platforms (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform) or on-premise
  • Software development experience (Back End / Front End)
  • Software testing experience
  • German language skills
