TestIT is a Hungarian-owned IT service provider based in Budapest, with a new office in Pécs opened in September 2022. Since 2016, we’ve been supporting, testing, and coordinating enterprise-level IT developments. Our services include establishing company-wide testing methodologies and automating business processes.

In addition to our clients in the Hungarian market in telecommunications, financial institutions, insurance and energy, we are already working on international projects with our domestic team.

01 Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Release Manager who confidently plans and oversees release processes while ensuring smooth collaboration between development, testing, and operations teams. If you enjoy bringing structure to complex environments, see the big picture, and like working in a continuously improving setting, you’ll feel right at home with us.

02 Your responsibilities

Establishing and maintaining the release calendar based on business needs
Preparing detailed release plans, including rollback procedures
Liaising with development, testing, and operations teams
Monitoring and coordinating dependencies between various systems and components

Maintaining release documentation
Preparing reports, statistics, status updates, and analyses
Developing the release methodology and continuously improving release processes
Environment management: overseeing and managing test and production environments

03 What we expect from you

University degree
3–5 years of experience as a Release Manager
Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab)

Strong coordination skills
Strong communication skills
Proactive attitude
Process-oriented mindset

04 Nice to have

Experience in change management
Project experience with complex architectures involving multiple integrations and applications
Knowledge of deployment strategies
